Weekend Camping Break at Wickham Market

Enjoy a weekend camping break at The Orchard Campsite in Wickham Market, where you can enjoy toasting marsh mallows on your own private campfire.
Take our option to cycle in the Heart of Suffolk, with a trip into historic Framlingham or peddle through Rendlesham Forest - famous for its UFO sightings. In the evening gather around a campfire and enjoy the unique atmosphere of this campsite. A fantastic camping experience!

Weekend Camping Break at Dunwich Cliffs

The Dunwich area has much to offer. Crumbling cliffs, nature reserves, a private beach and the miles of forest and heathland that is overseen by The National Trust.
The woodland setting of this campsite offers a quiet retreat with excellent facilities including an onsite pub / restaurant and its own private beach.
Optional weekend cycling options include a trip to Southwold, or further afield to Beccles. You could also explore the Suffolk Coastal Route to the south or some of the many off road tracks through Dunwich Heath and forest. Perfect for a family or couple.

Weekend Camping Break at Bucklesham

Ideally located for discovering the hidden delights of the Edwardian seaside resort of Felixstowe - a hidden gem on the Suffolk Coast.
Westwood Park is a small, exceptionally friendly, yet quiet campsite. The site boasts some of the best showering facilities found on any campsite in the country, so if you are trying to find somewhere super clean and dafe for your younger children this could be the place for you (not to say our other sites are dirty!) Children are catered for with a small playground and families camp happily together in a sociable atmosphere. The campsite has a small shop for basic provisions.
The nearest pub is about 2 miles away which serves excellent local food and is highly recommended. A local takeaway will deliver to the site. Nearby towns of of Ipswich, Felixstowe and Woodbridge are all about 6/7 miles away - a Tesco superstore is a couple of miles up the road to supply you with all your basic provisions..
Other nearby attractions include Rendlesham Forest, where you can enjoy walking, cycle rides and nature activities. All are within cycling distance.
With its fast connections to the A14 the site is easy to find and very affordable. A ideal way to try out camping on a high quality campsite. English tourism **** graded.

Weekend Camping Break at Eyke

Located on the northern edge of Rendlesham Forest and just a few miles from attractive Woodbridge. Eyke is a great base for exploring Aldeburgh and Suffolk Coasts and Heaths area of outstanding natural beauty.
This family owned campsite, provides plenty of green space and a neat play area for children to enjoy. In the nearby village there is a well stocked general store. There is a choice of pubs within a short distance of the campsite.
The historic and popular town of Woodbridge is a few miles away and other popular attractions include Orford, which has a castle and boat trips along the river and to nearby nature reserves.
Slightly further away, but easily within a day's cycle or a twenty minute drive is Aldeburgh, famous for its music festival. In the other direction is Framlingham, overlooked by its castle which was once the home of Queen Mary when East Anglia was the country's powerhouse.
The site has basic showering and toilet facilities and offers excellent value for money, so if you are interested in an affordable tent holiday in a great location, with space for your children to play this could be the choice for you.

Weekend Mini Cycling Tour - Suffolk Coastal Route

Enjoy a self guided mini tour of the suffolk coastal route, choosing a distance suitable to you! The Suffolk Coastal Route has much to offer along its 88 mile length, from quiet country lanes that pass through the forests and heaths that typify this rural part of the county to historic market towns such as Framlingham and Woodbridge.
Perfect for more experienced cyclists who want to complete a recognised tour, but with plenty of shorter routes available, equally suitable should your calf muscles not be quite so big!
